Bulmers Summer Blend

25th March

Bulmers has just announced the launch of a limited edition, Summer Blend variant designed by jkr. The new pack builds on the core equities of our original design, but celebrates the summer with a stripy motif inspired by summer deckchairs.

“The design of the Bulmers’ limited edition combines the Bulmers personality with something quintessentially English summer time, conveying the warmth, wit and humor of the brand.”

Paul Dowson, Designer, jkr

Initial sales have been fantastic, building on the 25% growth experienced by the Bulmers brand this year.

Bulmers latest advertising campaign showcases the new design.

Graduate tours and recruitment

22nd March

We hosted one of jkr’s regular all day visits for design students this month. 20 students from 5 colleges came to see us and hopefully be given a little insight into what makes us tick as an agency.

“We want people to take the opportunity to fully engage with the design business that is jkr. After all, no two design agencies are the same and surely what people are for looking for is the right environment and briefs which will allow them to shine? jkr offer those two things in the world of branded packaging. If that appeals, come and see us.”

Ian Ritchie, Executive Creative Director, jkr

March is also “Milkround” month at jkr. We had 500 applications for positions in account handling at the agency. We narrowed it down to 80 candidates interviewed, and a further 2 assessment days of 27 candidates to fill our two advertised positions.

If you’re interested in applying for next year’s programme, check back on the job section of the site in November. Alternatively, look out for our Facebook and Twitter updates.
